Modulesoft is very keen on updating the skills with latest developments and has built the expertise on J2EE based web services and interoperability through proof of concepts much before implementing them in projects. Java enthusiasts at Modulesoft get access to early releases of Java based products, open source, frameworks and specifications to form knowledge bank on the latest developments. Modulesoft has mature Object Oriented Design skills and developed re-usable frameworks based on standard design patterns, which greatly improve the quality of the solutions and cut down development time. Modulesoft has successfully implemented several projects in Java/J2EE platform and provided enterprise wide solutions. The following is a brief description of our capabilities, and it is ever evolving!

• Java Console Application - Modulesoft has developed console applications like process monitors and utilities to aid the development work.
• AWT, SWING/RMI Application - Modulesoft has developed SWING/RMI based client server applications and products. The highlights of these applications are UI rich features, support for accessibility and internationalization. These applications have been tested on both Windows and Linux platform with native look and feel. Modulesoft has also migrated heavyweight AWT based clients to lightweight SWING clients.
• Web Sites/Application with Applet/Servlet - We have experience in developing UI rich websites and web application using Applets/Servlets during the "Applets Era", before JSP and related technologies emerged.
• J2EE Web Application - Modulesoft has architected, designed and implemented enterprise solutions, which are mission critical, scalable, open, reliable and highly available systems. In these projects Modulesoft used Struts MVC development framework to achieve higher degree of separation between presentation and business layers and to improve re-usability. Robust authentication and authorization was implemented using PKI over SSL and RBAC based on ACL. The use of Object Oriented Design Methodologies and Design Patterns has resulted in highly maintainable and extensible applications. Modulesoft offered optimal solution based on the business scenario by building business tier with pure Java beans or EJB's as appropriate. Modulesoft also has experience in using Object-Relational mapping tools like Torque to build the persistence layer.
• J2EE Web Services - Modulesoft identified the candidates for Web Services in a business integration scenario and proposed a service-oriented architecture to replace existing client server model for EDI between heterogeneous systems. As a proof of concept on interoperability, Modulesoft has developed .Net and J2EE clients to access these services.
